Important notice! This is just my experience with this problem and can't be taken as good solution.

If you try what I did it's on your own risk. I don't take any responsibility.Few days ago my developed a problem with battery (stock). It was empty and It didn't start to charge. LED indicator was blinking/flashing red color when I connected it to charger and nothing else happened. Phone didn't even boot when battery was inserted. When I removed battery it booted and worked fine. When charging below 10% it should be just red- without blinking.

Blinking supposed to mean that there is no charging activity at all (according to some people).Night before I noticed that power level was all over the place (while connected to charger). It changed often up and down between 5% - 40%. I didn't think much of it at first but when I woke up next morning, phone was totally dead. After googling a bit I found some huawei threads with same symptoms.

For instance.Solution came from last link. Even Though I have a different phone than talked about in thread I gave it a try.My solutionThese were steps I took to by-pass this battery rpoblem. Remove battery from phone. Plugin the charger.

Power up your phone. After intial boot screen insert the battery (3-5 seconds worked for me). After boot it should show up red indicator (not blinking). Phone should be now charging againI tried 2 times before I got any charging results (power level over 0%).

Maybe first time I didn't wait long enough.AftermathCurrently I'am not sure yet about my batterys lifetime. After initial charging it has dropped few times below 20% out of blue.

It charged very badly. Sometimes got stuck at some random level like 30% or 44%.Now I have seen it on 100% first time.

Rissa RoxThank you so much for posting this. I have had a lot of issues with getting my Huawei to charge. I seem to be getting a new charger cord every few weeks & they only work for very short time, before i have to buy a new one. This morning the charging light started flashing red. I have done the procedure advised in this site & it seems to have fixed the issue a little & my phone is finally charging for the first time in 3 days. Its still definately time to get a new phone, but thank you soooooo much for posting this as it has helped me out a great deal in the mean time. JariFor me seemed to be working other solution. When I connect the battery cord and red light is blinking then hold down together volume up and power on/off button. I took me to boot menu I just factory resetted the phone (I have backup on my SD) and from there on everything is back to normal- charging etc.Maybe this solution above works, but to take battery out is a more time taking than my solution.

Nandhinisame problem for mine, kindly help me out of this.I have huwaei honor 6 h60-l04 and today suddenly I hve facing a situation. While I m charging my phone is getting charged and working. Then again when I m putting it in charge its working.Do u have any idea what happened to it.Plz reply.

Kesiaaww its not working for me. My phone died and wont charge:/ I had trouble with it for a few weeks now, I had to hold the charger in a certain number of ways for it to charge. But then it didnt charge at all and it died and wont charge. I got alot of new chargers but that doesnt seem to help. My phone charged really slowly aswell sometimes the battery% just stayed in place or it went down. I dont know what to do:/ I have searched the internet but I cant find anything thats working for my huawei phone:/. VasiI got a new battery and tried out, still facing the same problem in my Huawei Ascend P7.

It is working fine when I remove battery and charging the phone but when I insert it does not charge (sometimes it is charging and went to 100%) but if I unplug, the mobile getting switched off. I tried with 2 new batteries, still facing the same issue.

Is that a motherboard problem? Today I am gonna try cleaning the motherboard with Isopropyl Alcohol 99% and will give a try. There is no new motherboard for Huawei P7 (I found it 235$ around in Aliexpress) that is more costlier than new mobile. Do let me know if any solution.

Yahxtoall trouble with batery charge is for 2 ways.firstball change baterysecond (if another batery no fix) is motherboard (circuit from charge) someone resistor/capacitor damage that willbe fixed with pacience and the partsALL phones have batery removible, just that someones came under the case, unmount the case and will see the batery conected in there. For whos have the problem from 0 charge.can try charging the.batery with a charger universal or direct (+/-) a few seconds for gain the voltage requiered to the batery start to charger with normality and put in on the phone.

NyasyaHonor 4X Battery Solution:Firstly, thank you so much for this article. I would like to add few more aspects so that it might help those with similar Honor 4x battery issue.Problem I've Encountered:When I woke up in the morning I found my phone was off. I've kept it for charging. Usually, after charging for some time, when I press and hold power button, it boots. But this time, there is no sign on any charging activity. When I was pressing power button, it is showing Battery Sign and Charging Symbol in Red Color.

I was not sure what does that mean. I tried charging for some more time, but It wasn't of much use.I then found this article. I must say the solution indeed worked.Few points for Honor users:1.

Batter is inbuilt unlinke other phones. Therefore you need to unscrew the frame covering the batter.2.

I didn't had the screwdriver that is suitable for these small screws, so I used a small knife to open them3. I couldn't open one screw, therefore, I somehow had managed to open the frame enough to see the batter.4. Battery is connected to motherboard with a small cable, you need to lift it up to unplug.5.

AFter unplugging batter, you then power up the phone by connecting the charger to the phone.6. It wont completely boot, but it shows the initial boot screen which repeats it self.

Wait for some time, then unplug the charger.7. Now, reconnect the battery cable to the board.8.

Close the frame and again connect the charger to the phone and switch on the power9. You will find a battery symbol and a charging symbol in red color that is displayed on the screen10. Charging indicator on the top left (small red or yellow or green light) now will start blinking11. That implies, the drained batter is slowly getting charged12. Dont rush, and let it charge. After some time you will notice the red blinking indicator on the top left corner turning to ligh yellow.

Implies now you can start your phone if it is an emergency, or just let it charge 100%Now I will have to figure out how to fix back the screws with the little knife I have.:)Don't panic, you don't have to rush to the servicing centre. OlukunleHello,I have a Huawei Ascend G7 which I bought brand new about two months ago.

It ran out of battery yesterday and I have charged it over night but it doesn't appear to be charging. I have tried several chargers with no success - and taken it to a phone repair shop who says the port looks fine (I have heard the charging ports break quite easily on these models).I think it might be a software issue because when first plugged in it looks like it is charging and has the battery on the screen with a red line showing low battery charge.

Then it switches to an image of a battery looking like it is charging (with a green bar going up the battery). But seconds later it flashes up with the image that means 'plug in your charger' (a grey battery with the charger lead next to it) and stays like that even if charged for hours. Can anyone help with this? My wife is due to give birth in the next couple of days and I really need a working phone - Huawei are being no help at all! Thanks in advance.

EmsI had the same problem with my Honor 6 some time ago. When I plugged in the charger it just gave me this picture of a battery with a red flash. I kept it turned off maybe two days (because I didn't have time to take it to service) and then, just for the heck of it plgged the charger, AND IT STARTED CHARGING!Same thing happened with my boyfriends Honor 6.

We kept it turned off 2 days and just plugged it to the charger and now it's charging just fine!Hope this works out for somebody else also:).
